Use the program AE mode to have the camera automatically set the shutter speed
and aperture settings to match the brightness of the scene.

Shoot the image.
• The shutter speed and aperture settings will be
set automatically and shown in the display
panel. They will also appear in the LCD monitor
or viewfinder if it is on.
• The correct exposure has been set if the shutter
speed and aperture settings do not blink in the
display panel.
• If an incorrect exposure will result, the shutter speed and aperture settings blink in
the display panel and show in red in the LCD monitor or viewfinder. Use the
following methods to shoot.
- Use the flash.
- Adjust the exposure using spot metering, exposure compensation or flash
exposure compensation.
- Switch the shooting mode to (Manual).
