What’s On the Operation Panel?

Menu display:

In the menu display, press this button to return to the previous items 
for selection at the same level.

d Reset/Enter (

) button

Offline:

Press this button to reset the printer.
Press and hold 1 second to cancel data processing or clear the print job 
data being received from the computer.
Press and hold for 5 seconds to perform a hard reset and cancel data 
processing or stop the print job data being received from the computer.

Menu display:

Press this button to open the next menu level below.

Item/setting display:

Press to use as an execute key to execute or set the selected function or 
value.

e Power button

Press this button to switch the printer on and off.
Printer off:

Press to switch the printer on.

Printer on:

Press and hold for 2 seconds to switch the printer off.

f Online button

Press the button to set the printer offline and online. To use the menus, 
you must first press the Online button to set the printer offline.
Printer online:

Press this button to set the printer offline.

Printer offline:

Press this button to set the printer online. However, when an error 
message is displayed, the printer will not return online until the 
problem has been corrected.

Error message displayed:

After correcting the problem, press this button to return the printer 
online.

Menu display:

Closes the menu display and returns the printer online.
