Registering Sender Information
In the United States, FCC rules governing the use of facsimile equipment state that your fax/
telephone number, personal name or company name, and date and time of transmission must be
printed on every facsimile transmission. Your machine has been designed to print this information
at the top of every fax you send.
You must therefore register this information to your machine before using it.
Below is an example of how your sender information would print on a fax sent from your machine:
NOTE
• You can set the sender information to print inside or outside the image area. (See page 154)
• For color sending, the recipient’s name is not printed.
• You can enter the sender information from the operation panel. (See page 86)
