Copying
Chapter 3
Follow this procedure:
1
Load the document on the platen glass.

Press [COPY].

Use [
W
] or [
X
] to select the number of copies, or enter the number using
the numeric keys (max. 99 copies).
NOTE
For the maximum load limit for the paper you are using in the multi-purpose tray, see page 21.

Adjust the settings for your document as necessary.
NOTE
• To select the paper size and type, see page 30.
• The image quality is fixed to <
FINE (PHOTO)
>. You cannot change this setting.
• To select the scanning exposure, see page 33.
• To select the copy ratio, see page 33.

Press [Menu] repeatedly until <

If a paper type setting is selected that cannot be used in borderless copying, the LCD displays
the following message.

• You can select the width to be cropped from the borders of the original image. (See page 47)
• Pressing [Black] does not start copying.
