Calibrate a media family

Before you begin

Make sure you have an Eye-One spectrophotometer connected to the USB connector of the
operator panel.

Procedure

Calibrate the printer.

Touch [System] -> [Color adjustment] -> [Media family calibration].

Select the media family to calibrate.

Select one of the following halftones.
• [Normal].
• [Fine].
• [Error diffusion].

Select the [Media] to calibrate.

Press [OK].

Follow the instructions on the operator panel.

Repeat steps 4 to 7 for the next halftone.

IMPORTANT

Make sure you repeat steps 4 to 7 for all the halftones [Normal], [Fine] and [Error diffusion].

Press [Close].
