6. ColorPASS-GX200 Parts Support Program
The Parts Support Program is designed to help reduce your service costs
for Electronic For Imaging (EFI) controllers. By participating in the Parts
Support Program your dealership will not be required to stock expensive
parts.
Canon USA, Inc. will provide replacement parts at no-charge for the
ColorPASS-GX200 on an exchange basis for a period of nine (9) months.
This includes the ninety (90) day warranty period and the six (6) months
following. To obtain parts under the Parts Support program, follow these
steps:
1. Contact the Technical Support Center at 1-800-528-2830 to report
the incident and get technical assistance. If the problem cannot be
resolved over the phone, the technical support specialist will assign
a “ticket” number to the case. You will need to reference this ticket
number when completing the Part Order Form.
2. Go to the e-Support website at
http://www.support.cusa.canon.com
,
navigate to the Warranty Information Center, and locate the Part
Order Form under the Parts Support Information.
3. Complete the Part Order Form and fax it to the Warranty Control
Section at 1-516-328-5761.
Once the order form is received and verified, the Warranty Control Section
will ship the replacement part packaged with the original order form and a
return address label. The original order form must accompany the return of
the defective part. The defective part must be returned within ten (10)
business days otherwise your dealership will be charged (dealer cost) for
the part.
For out of warranty repairs on EFI circuit boards, please contact the
Warranty Control Section at 1-516-328-5744.
As indicated on the part order form, the Parts Support Program includes
standard shipping at no cost to the dealership. If you request an upgrade
in your delivery service, your dealership will be charged for the freight
charges.
