Transporting the Printer

If you plan to move the printer from one location to another, or if you want to store it,
follow these steps.

Turn off the printer.

Make sure the print head is in the home position on the right side of the printer.

Remove any paper from the sheet feeder.

Detach the interface cable and power cord.

Close the paper support
and output tray.

Press down the paper support.

Press in the paper output tray
extension and push the paper
output tray up against the front
of the printer.

Tape the printer.

Reattach the packing materials to the
paper feed slot of the sheet feeder
and the paper output slot
on the front of the printer.

Insert the printer into its plastic bag.
