9.
If you run out of water, shut off your hot water heater on the AC panel. Serious damage can
occur if the water heater is dry and left on!
10.
Also, if you run out of water, the fresh water pump must be primed when the tank is filled.
11.
The fresh water pump is in the starboard side of the lazarette next to the water tank.
12.
Prime it by removing the red cap on the water pump and pouring in a small amount of water.
Water maker:
The water maker has been disabled.
Hot Water Tank:
1.
The hot water heater has a 30-gallon capacity.
2.
The tank AC breaker is in the pilothouse.
3.
Because it draws significant amps, it can only be used with the generator or shore power.
4.
Because it is a 30-gallon tank, it takes time to heat the water (1 to 2 hours).
Grey Water:
1.
The sump pump for the bathroom drains should always be on (the DC breaker is located above
washing machine).
2.
Showers have a sump pump switch in the shower stall.
3.
The kitchen sink has a “sinkerator” garbage disposal (the “disposal” breaker is in the AC panel
in the pilothouse).
Remove black cap to
prime pump if you run
out of water to avoid
damaging the pump.
This panel only works
with shore power or
the generator.
