Correct tightening torque for the fasteners (bolts, screws, nuts) on your bicycle is very important to
your safety and to the durability and performance of your bicycle
We urge you to have your dealer correctly torque all fasteners using a torque wrench. If you decide to
tighten fasteners yourself, always use a calibrated torque wrench!
Some fasteners have a pre-applied Loctite patch. Its effectiveness is reduced after repeated removal
and installation of the bolt. Renew the application of Loctite as required.
