Tightening Torques
The following diagrams list tightening torques and locations for the frame fasteners (bolts, screws,
nuts) on your bicycle. Setting the correct torque is very important to your safety and to the durability
and performance of your bicycle. Always use a calibrated torque wrench! Follow the manufacturer
torque instructions for all the components of your bike. Some fasteners have a pre-applied threadlock
patch, the effectiveness of which is reduced after repeated removals and re-installations of said
fasteners. Renew the application of threadlock as required.
