Safety instructions and warnings
PLEASE NOTE: These recommendations are very important !
IMPORTANT !
Please keep this document for reference at a later date. Please read carefully and completely. Meets all safety
standards and requirements. La Multi should be assembled and handled by adults only. Do not use La Multi with a
child whose weight and/or physical capacities are above those recommended by the manufacturer, or in any other way than those
intended by the manufacturer.
Safety is guaranteed only insofar as La Multi is used in conformance with the instructions. Using fabric liners or elements other
than the items offered by the manufacturer of La Multi for the seat or the bassinet is not recommended. All of La
Multi’s different modes and functions can be used with a child who weighs up to 9 kilos (20 lbs.). The changing table can be used
with a child who weighs up to 11 (24 lbs.).
Do not use La Multi if any part of the support structure is broken, torn or missing. Before using La Multi, remove all plastic bags and
other packaging for all of La Multi’s parts and fabric liners. Please throw them away or place them out of children’s reach.
This item handle weighty load. Do not leave something below when the leg goes down.
Do not unscrew the screws of La Multi to guarantee the safety
2.1 Bassinet mode
• Do not leave the straps inside the bassinet
• This item is for a child who can not sit up alone
• Use only on surfaces that are fl at, level, hard and dry
• Do not let other children play near the bassinet unattended
• The child’s head should never be lower inside the bassinet than the child’s body is
• Do NOT close the suitcase cover while the child is inside the bassinet
• When the leg is not being used, it should be kept out of the reach of children
• Do not leave anything inside the bassinet, and do not place it next to any item that could catch the child’s foot or present a risk of
suffocation or strangling, such as strings, curtain cords, etc
2.2 Changing-table mode
• Do not add a mattress
• Use only with the stand provided
• Do not place the changing table over the child when he or she is in the bassinet
2.3 Baby seat or rocker and raised baby seat mode
• This seat (in all modes) is intended for a child who weighs no more than 9 kg. (20 lbs.)
• This seat is not intended for long stretches of sleep
• This seat is not intended to replace a bassinet, cradle, cot or crib
• Do not use this seat once the child is able to sit up alone, roll over, or get up on all fours
• Do not pick the seat up when the child is inside it
• Do not place more than one child in the seat at a time
• Vigorous rocking: Please prevent older children from rocking the baby too vigorously
• This is NOT a car seat. Do not use this seat to transport a child inside motor vehicles
• In order to avoid causing the seat to fall or tip over, do not place it near a window or wall
• Make sure that all latch points have been securely fastened before using
• RISK OF FALLS: Babies have had skull fractures from falls while in or getting out of the seat. The child’s motions can cause
the seat to shift around
• Never use the seat on surfaces that are not perfectly horizontal
• Use the seat on the fl oor ONLY. It is dangerous to place the seat on raised surfaces, such as tables
• ALWAYS use the harness. Adjust it properly
• NEVER lift or carry the child inside the seat
• RISK OF SUFFOCATION: Babies have suffocated when seats fl ipped over on soft surfaces. NEVER place the seat on a soft
surface, like a bed or a cushion. NEVER leave a baby in the seat unattended
• To prevent falls and suffocation: ALWAYS use the harness, and adjust it properly. NEVER use the seat for a child who can sit
up on their own (3-point attachment system)
• Do not place items with strings on or around the child’s neck, do not hang strings on the seat or attach toys with strings. Doing
so can cause the baby to be strangled
