Rates include the time needed to write data to a memory card. They do not include time needed to measure
sensors outside the VWIRE 305 network. The fastest that a vibrating wire gage can be measured is approximately
20 percent of the resonant frequency.
2
Find the output range of a sensor in the documentation sent by the manufacturer.
3
Usual values for a 2500 Hz resonant sensor

Specifications are subject to installation factors such as CPI bus speed, CPI cable length, and unrelated demands
on the data logger.
9.2 VWIRE 305 settings
Settings configure the VWIRE 305. Use DVW Toolbox software to edit and apply settings.
NOTE:
The GRANITE data logger re-configures the VWIRE 305 when it is connected regardless of
what was done in DVW Toolbox. To get DVW Toolbox settings to persist do the
configuration in DVW Toolbox, then have DVW Toolbox write the data logger program
(CRBasic Code button), then load that program into the GRANITE data logger.
The following table summarizes VWIRE 305 settings and how to access them in DVW Toolbox
and CRBasic Editor.
