3. Initial inspection

Upon receipt of the TempVue 10, inspect the packaging and contents for damage. File
damage claims with the shipping company.

Immediately check package contents against the shipping documentation. Contact
Campbell Scientific about any discrepancies.

The calibration certificate shipped with each TempVue 10 includes the device under test
(DUT) calibration offset (see
[p. 2]). This value is unique for each sensor. Cross
check this serial number on the certificate against the serial number on your sensor to
ensure the given DUT offset corresponds to your sensor.
