7. Installation
7.1 Mounting
The 092 is factory mounted to a solar shield. The solar shield mounts by way
of two U-bolts to a vertical pipe with diameter up to 2” IPS. Install the sensor
such that it faces North in the Northern Hemisphere, or South in the Southern
Hemisphere. This orientation will shield the polycarbonate sensor housing
from most direct sunlight.
