Openthecameraasdescribedinsection6.1toinsertthebatteries.Thebattery

compartmentishousedintheright,rearpartofthecamera.Nowopenthe

protectivecoverofthebatterycompartmentbypullingtheclampingclosureat

thetopslightlyinwardsbeforeliftingoﬀthecover.

Firstremoveanyexistingbatteriesfromthebatterycompartment.Insert8

fullychargebatteriesasshowninthebelowﬁgure.Wheninsertigbatteries

ensurecorrectpositionasmarkedforeachbatteryinthebatterycompartment.

Note:

Werecommendusing8xalkalineAAbatteriestoensurethecamera's

normalfunction.
