8. TROUBLESHOOTING

sideshift/position
the load

Oil leak

Check the connections. Replace or repair
the pump/valve. Replace the seals

Dirt or air in the hydraulic system

Bleed the air from the system, run the
cylinders through several lift cycles.
See chapter ‘5.3.1. Bleeding the hydraulic
system’

Not enough space for the hydraulic
connection to move freely

Prevent blockage of the hydraulic system,
connect the hydraulic system as indicated

Incorrect mounting of the hydraulic
connection

Check if the hydraulic system is
connected to the correct hydraulic hoses.
See chapter ‘5. Assembly and installation’

Hydraulic pressure is too low or incorrect
flow from the lifting device

Make sure you use the correct oil. Read
the instructions in the manual of your
lifting device

Cylinder work not well

Replace the cylinder. See spare parts list
attached for the correct reference

Impossible to lift or
lower the load

Malfunctioning of the hydraulic
connections

See chapter ‘7.3. Maintenance
instructions’. Consult the manual of your
lifting device

Leaking cylinder

Repair or replace the cylinder. May only
be done by a qualified service technician
and according to the manufacturer’s
instructions. See spare parts list attached
for the correct reference
