7. MAINTENANCE
7.1.
Safety instructions for the maintenance of the product
• Make sure you read the operating manual before carrying out maintenance.
• For maintenance, place the fork positioner in its lowest position to the ground. Switch off
the vehicle’s engine and remove the key.
• Use tools and equipment suitable for the task to be performed
• Use Loctite 242 on the screws to remount pieces previously disassembled.
• Do not leave any tools or equipment behind on any part of the machine.
• In the event of injuries caused by escaping oil under pressure, immediately seek medical
assistance.
• After completing any service procedure, always test the fork positioner through five
complete cycles (see chapter ‘5.3.2. Bleed the hydraulic system before use’).
• The operator should wear safety shoes and gloves when using or maintaining the fork
positioner.
• Before maintaining the fork positioner, carefully read the instructions in the manual of your
lifting device.
• This manual contains all the necessary information on the installation and operation of the
PH fork positioner.
• Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians.
If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer.
