When installed in a vehicle the fuel pump must be installed at a maximum

distance of 2 meters from the fuel tank and no more than 6 meters from the

heater unit. The fuel pump must also be installed in such a way so that it is

not positioned more than 1 m above the minimum fuel level and 1 m below

the maximum fuel level. The heater unit shall be placed not more than 2

meters higher than the fuel pump.
