Getting Started

CONNECTING A LAPTOP TO BRIO 36

A laptop can be used on Brio 36 to
access H2O for I/O port management
and labelling, and to carry out software
updates.

Thelaptopwillneedtohaveatleastone
ethernetport(orUSBLANconnector)
whichshouldbeconnectedtothe
‘Ethernet1orEthernet2connectionwhich
islocatedontherearoftheBrio36unit.

Thelaptopwillneedtobeconfiguredtouse
astaticIPaddressforitsLANconnection.
Theaddresschosenshouldbecompatible
withtheaddressoftheportontheconsole
itisbeingconnectedto.

ThisisconfiguredinLANsettingswhich
isinSystemSettings>LANConfiguration,
allowingtheusertoviewtheconsole’sLAN
portsaddressesandtobeabletochange
