Portafilter
should be in the
center position.
Keep Portafilter
flat, insert into
Group Head.
Empty hot water
from cup.
Turn Portafilter.
Press to either:
- 1 Shot - 1 oz pour.
- 2 Shot - 2 oz pour.
Evenly tamp (press) grinds to
level indicated.
Wipe Filter Basket
with a dry cloth.
Wipe edges to clear
any excess grinds.
Leave Portafilter
in Group Head until
after milk frothing.
Position cup on
Drip Tray under
Portafilter.
Extraction begins
and will automatically
stop.

Basket with grinds

Turn DIAL to
HOT WATER.
Half fill cup
with hot water.
Press 1 SHOT button.
Check for water
in reservoir.
Warm cup and
Tamper on top
Warming Plate.
Turn on.
Place cup on
counter top and
position Steam Wand.
Select either:
- One Cup Filter Basket.
- Two Cup Filter Basket.
ON/OFF LIGHT will
illuminate and 1 CUP
& 2 CUP will pluse
= Heating up.
Return DIAL to
OFF position.
Hold Portafilter
under Group Head
while water flows.
ON/OFF , 1 CUP & 2 CUP LIGHTS
fully illuminated = Ready.

3. Select Filter Baskets
4. Warm Group Head, Portafilter and Filter Basket
