Clean the LED tent pegs with a dry, soft cloth only. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or solvent-based cleaners. Never allow liquids to
ingress into the device.
Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household waste! Electrical and electronic scrap must be collected separately and dis-
posed of in an environmentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your community or city administration regarding
disposal options for electrical and electronic scrap.

To switch on, fold out the light, Image 2. Rotate the light head clockwise until the
LED switches on, Image 3. Fold the light in again. Rotate the light head anticlock-
wise after use to switch off the light.
6.3 REPLACING THE BATTERIES
To change the batteries, fully unscrew the light head by turning it clockwise and
remove it from the light, Image 4. Remove the used batteries.
Insert the new batteries into the light head, Image 5. Ensure the correct polarity.
The bottom side, minus pole, of the button cell must point to the LED in the light
head.
Screw the light head back into the light by turning it clockwise.
The LED tent pegs do not need to be maintained with proper use of the product. If you do not use the LED tent pegs for a long period of time,
remove the batteries from the battery compartment.

Before using the LED tent pegs for the first time, pull out the protective transport
cover for the batteries out of the lower part of the light, Image 1.
At the end of their lifetime, used batteries and battery packs are not to be disposed of in the household waste - or negligently in
the environment. Hand in used device batteries/battery packs to the collection points at the store (dealer). This makes a consi-
derable contribution towards protecting our environment. Some communities may also collect used batteries/battery packs via
mobile stations or recycling centres.
