Modem Select
The Local ID button allows the user to send commands to the local unit (the unit interfaced to the computer). The
Short ID for this unit is shown.
Local ID
The Remote ID button allows the user to send diagnostic commands to any specific remote unit and obtain its
diagnostic information. The Remote ID is selected from the list of Remote IDs set up in the Diagnostics IDs, Alarms
and Filters screen.

Diagnostic Select
This button allows the user to gather Offline Diagnostics from the selected Remote ID only.

Remote ID List
This button allows the user to gather Offline Diagnostics from all the IDs in the list of Remote IDs
(including the local unit).
Progress
Displays the progress of obtaining Remote Diagnostics.
Tx Tone
The Tx Tone button will send a remote or local command to cause the Guardian to transmit a tone. This can be
used to create network traffic so that offline diagnostics of remotes can be monitored.
Get Diags/Stats
The Get Diags/Stats button allows the user to send the command for Offline Diagnostics. The command is sent to
the unit connected to the computer if the Local ID button is selected. The command is sent to the selected Remote
ID if the Remote ID and Selected Remote ID buttons are selected. The command is sent to the list of Remote IDs if
the Remote ID and Remote ID List buttons are selected.
