The automatic tensioner pulley behind the crank saves frequent checks and
re-tensioning of the belt and is almost maintenance-free, with the exception
of cleaning and lubricating moving parts from time to time.

Checklist

To ensure a long service life for the system, we recommend

•  cleaning the belt with water or a hand brush following rides through mud

or dirt. Remaining dirt can lead to increased wear or a noisy drive train
(e.g. squeaking or creaking).

•  checking your belt drive for damage, deformed material or fissures every

time you clean it.

•  checking the belt drive sprockets and the belt tension

If you notice any changes, have your Ca Go dealer repair them immediately.

The belt drive can catch wide clothes and seize, resulting in dangerous
situations. When cleaning it, there is a risk of getting fingers caught between
the belt and the belt drive sprocket or tensioner pulleys.
