12. Draining the appliance
CAUTION! When the appliance is not used for
a long time, it is necessary to drain the water
lines. Liquids may freeze and damage the
appliance.

Make sure the lever is lowered.

Turn the machine off .

Remove and empty the water tank.
12.4
Keep the three coff ee buttons pressed
down and at the same time turn on the
machine by pressing the power on/off switch.

The alarm indicator light will blink and the
machine will carry out a drainage cycle. At the
end the machine will emit a beep.

Turn the machine off . The next time you
turn it on you will have to carry out a new start-
up procedure.
13. Troubleshooting
Problem
No coff ee is brewed.
The coff ee is not hot
enough.
The lever cannot be
lowered.
Cause
The water tank is empty,
the indicator light will be
RED.
Cold cups / mugs.
Scale build-up in machine.
The used capsule bin is full.
Capsule stuck inside the
machine.
Solution
Fill the tank with fresh water.
Press the desired coff ee
button.
The appliance will resume
brewing.
Preheat the cup.
Descale the machine.
Empty the used capsule
bin.
Remove the used capsule.
