Make sure the lever is lowered.

Remove the drip tray and used
capsule bin.

Lift the capsule bin; empty and rinse it out.

Remove the grill. Empty the drip tray and
rinse out with fresh water.

Remove the water tank. Empty and rinse
the tank. The water tank is NOT dishwasher
safe.
Use a soft , dampened cloth and a neutral
detergent to clean the surfaces of the appliance.
The plastic parts of the machine are not dishwasher
safe.
11. Descaling the machine
Depending on the used water hardness, proceed regularly to descaling the
machine.
It is recommended to descale once a month.
The machine features an advanced program that monitors how much water is used to
dispense beverages. This measurement provides the user with indications as to when the
machine needs to be descaled. Specifi c indications are given in chapter 3.
Carefully read the directions for use on the package of the descaling agent. Avoid contact
with eyes, skin and machine surfaces. Do not use vinegar: it could damage your appliance!
Only descaling solution approved for use in contact with food. During descaling, do not turn
the machine off .
Note: Allways keep an eye on the application during descaling.

Turn the machine off .
11.2
Empty and rinse out the used capsule bin
and drip tray.
11.3
Remove and empty the water tank.
11.4
Fill the tank with 1 liter of water and 200 ml
of descaling solution.
