Setup

Step 1: Place Juno in the Work Area

Select a work area with enough space for all equipment and to easily access and move around the
simulator. A minimum 10 ft x 12 ft (3 m x 4 m) work area is recommended.

Before placing the manikin on a surface, make sure the work surface can support 100 lbs (45.4 kg).

IMPORTANT

Never lift the manikin by the limbs. Support the manikin’s head and lift it from the

torso.

Note

: Live and Complete configurations support wireless use of the instructor tablet. When working

with these configurations, ensure a multi-plug AC power outlet is located close to the workspace to
recharge powered components.

Step 2: Prepare Juno for Legs

1. Detach lower skin.

a. Reach under Juno and pull the torso skin away from skin attachment pegs.

b. Pull the top tab from each peg and leave the lower tab in place.

c. Fold the skin over the upper torso.

Lift Skin

2. Remove abdominal plate.

a. Place your fingers into the access cutaways and pull up.
