Viewing Sender Information

Press the name of the sender to
view sender information if this
information matches contact
information already stored.

Sending a Text Message

Some items may be unavailable
when the vehicle is moving.

There are three ways to enter
receiver information:

Phone Number:

Press KEYPAD to

display the keypad and enter the
phone number. Press ENTER to
enter another. Press DONE when
finished.

Contacts:

Press CONTACTS to

select a contact. Press TXT next to
a contact to send a quick text.
Contacts with only one number
assigned will have this option.
Select a contact to view contact
details and select a number to send
a text message. Press DONE when
finished.

Recent Calls:

Press RECENT

CALLS to view the recent calls list.
Select a contact or a number to
send a text message. Press DONE
when finished.

There are three ways to compose a
text message:

Record an Audio Message:

Press

to record an audio message to
send. Press Start to begin. Press

Stop to end. Press Listen to listen to
the message, Re-record to record
again, Cancel to abort, and Send to
send the message.

Select a Predefined Message:

Press to select from a set of quick
messages. Press the message
to send.

Type a Message:

Press to type a

message. The keyboard cannot be
changed to upper case when
texting.

Predefined Messages

These are short text messages that
can be used to send so new
messages will not have to be typed.

The messages can be deleted or a
new message can be added.

To add a new message:

1. In the predefined messages list

view, select Add New Predefined
Message and a keyboard
displays.
