Remote Start

This feature allows you to choose the features (if
equipped) you would like to have activate when you
engage the remote start on your vehicle. See “Remote
Vehicle Start” under “Keyless Access System Operation”
in the index of your owner manual for more information.

You may choose any or all of the following items:

1. The Remote Start screen button must be highlighted

for the remote start feature to be activated.

2. Once the remote start feature is activated, you can

choose any or all of the features shown.

Climate Control: If this feature is active, the climate
control system will engage when the vehicle is started
using the remote start feature. It will be at the same
climate control setting that was last used by the driver
using that keyless access transmitter.

Rear Defog: If this feature is active, the rear defogger
will engage when the vehicle is started using the
remote start feature.

Seat Temperature Control: If this feature is active, the
seats will be heated or cooled, if equipped, when the
vehicle is started using the remote start feature.
