To configure SmartNode as a WiFi AP:
•
Plug in SmartNode to a power socket and switch it on. (Note: SmartNode takes
about 30 secs to start up.)
•
Wired SmartNode to your modem-router using an Ethernet cable.
• You are now ready to access internet on your laptops and smartphones via WiFi.
Simply turn on WiFi on your device and then connect it to SmartNode using its SSID
and password (PWD 8 chars), which can be found on the label on SmartNode.
Changing WiFi Settings
To change WiFi settings:
•
Open your PC/laptop’s web browser and enter: “http://10.10.10.10/main.asp”
• Click the “More WiFi Settings” icon and you can change the settings as preferred.
Click Apply to commit the changes.
• Click the “More WiFi Settings” icon, then the “Security” icon on the second row, and
you can change the settings as preferred. Click Apply to commit the changes.
Note: You may need to adjust the wireless profile on your computer to match the new
settings if necessary.
