Audio system
AM
／
FM
The audio system can syllabify receive the
AM and FM. At the same time, expediently
choose the fond broadcasting station
through the TUNE.
Radio operation
To operate the radio, only when the ignition
switch is on the ACCESSORY( ) or
Ⅰ
ON(
Ⅱ
)position. Turn the system on by
pressing the (PWR ／ VOL) knob or AM ／
FM button,
rotate the (PWR
／ VOL) knob to adjust the
volume.
The bands and frequency that the radio was
last tuned will be displayed. To change the
bands, press the AM
／ FM button. Press the
button every time, the band will cycle from
the M1 to FM2
、 FM3 、 AM1 、 AM2 mode.
On the FM band, the ST will be displayed if
the station is broadcasting in stereo. The ST
will flash if the car is driving across the area
in which the signal is weak. Stereo
reproduction on AM is not available.
Channel selection
You can use any of five methods to find the
radio station on the selected band: TUNE
、
SEEK 、 SCAN 、 AUTO SELECT and the
preset bars or icons.
TUNE
— Use the TUNE bars or knob to
tune the radio to the desired frequency.
Press
side of the bars or tune the
knob to right to tune to a higher frequency,
press
side of the bars or tune the
knob to the left to tune to a lower frequency.
When tuning, the frequency reading will
quickly change. Loose the bar when the
desired frequency is displayed. To
micro-adjusting the frequency, point and
press the TUNE bars.
SEEK
—The seek function searches up and
down from a current frequency to find a
station with strong signal. To activate it,
press the
or side of the bar,
then release it. The system will scan up or
down from the current frequency according
to the pressed side. Stop to search until it
searches out a station with strong signal.
SCAN—
The scan function samples all
station with strong signal on the selected
band. To activate it, press the scan button,
then release it. The SCAN will be displayed.
The system will play the kept stations for 5
seconds. At the time if you don’t make any
operation, the next station will be played.
When the station you want to listen to, only
press the scan button again.
Preset—Each side of the bars (1-6) or preset
icon store two frequency ( AM1
、 AM2) on
AM, and three frequency (FM1 、 FM2 、 FM3)
on FM.
When storing frequency, as follows
：
1 ． Select the desired band （ AM or FM ） 。
2 ． Use the TUNE 、 SEEK or SCAN
function to tune the radio to a desired
station.

． Pick the preset number(1 ～ 6) ， you want
for that station. Press the left or right side of
the bar or icon and hold it for 2 seconds, the
station can be stored to the related number.
4
． Repeat the steps 1 through 3 to a total of
12 stations on AM and 18 stations on FM.
Once the station be stored, only point and
press the left or right side of bar, and then
you can listen to it.
