Locking / unlocking with microswitch
The PEPS function becomes available when a
registered electronic intelligent key is carried in the
activation area.

Locations of detection antennas
A Exterior detection antenna
B Interior front detection antenna
C Interior middle and rear antennas (if any)

Activation area
A Entry function activation area: within about 1 m
from microswitch on the left front door handle or
microswitch on the trunk lid.
B Start function activation area: front of passenger
compartment
C Start function activation area: rear of passenger
compartment (if any)

In Area A , if the electronic intelligent key is too
close to a door handle or window, the entry function may not be activated.

In Area B or Area C (if any), the start function may not be activated if the electronic
intelligent key is on the dashboard or in the glove box or on the floor.
