Discharge area (discharge opening)
The reduced and mixed silage is discharged via the dis-
charge opening. The dosing gate (1) is opened and
closed by the hydraulic cylinder.

The opening width of the dosing gate (1) defines the
quantity of the discharged fodder.
The set opening width of the dosing gate is indicated by
the position of the indicator (3) on the scale (4).
Scale reading 0 = dosing gate closed (no dis-
charged fodder quantity)
Scale reading 7 = dosing gate open (greatest dis-
charged fodder quantity)
