Cleaning, maintenance and repairs
WARNING
Secure the tractor against starting up and rolling away
inadvertently before cleaning, servicing or repairing the mounted
accessory equipment!
Any residual mechanical / hydraulic energy stored in the
equipment may cause the accessory equipment to start moving
inadvertently!
When servicing and repairing the accessory equipment, be
aware of the existence of residual energy. Components
containing residual energy are identified by warnings. For
detailed information, refer to the corresponding chapters in this
operating manual.
Secure all operating media such as hydraulic oil against
unintended start-up!
Secure the raised accessory equipment or any raised parts
thereof from being lowered unintentionally before cleaning,
servicing or repairing the accessory equipment!
Use suitable tools and wear protective gloves when working on
tools with cutting edges!
Adhere to the prescribed intervals for cleaning, servicing and
repairs!
Carefully attach and secure larger components using lifting
devices before replacing them!
Regularly check if all bolts joints are firmly seated. When
maintenance is complete, check if all safety devices and
safeguards function properly!
Dispose of oils, greases and filters properly!
Properly handle and dispose of substances and materials used
for cleaning the accessory equipment, in particular:
when working on lubrication systems and lubrication
equipment,
when using solvents for cleaning!
Replacement parts must meet the minimum technical
requirements specified by the manufacturer! Compliance is
ensured by the use of original spare parts!
Observe the maintenance intervals applicable to wear parts!
