1.3. Check the setup of the PDA
If setting up the Internet connection was successful, then the following symbols will appear on
your PDA desktop. Also take into account that the battery has to be charged enough to establish
an Internet connection.
The Bluetooth connection to your Dairy Feeder Transceiver Box has to be active so that you can
use your Dairy Feeder system.
You can also check and if necessary change the individual connection types by selecting the
connection manager on the desktop. Wi-Fi has to be switched off; Bluetooth and the phone have
to be on.
Battery status (Please always ensure that there is sufficient
power)
Network reception (If the mobile Internet connection is
active, then its strength is shown in a bar. Please ensure that
there is always sufficient reception strength. It might be
necessary to change the type of connection (GPRS, 3G, …))
Bluetooth status (the Bluetooth connection has to be
active to allow a connection between the PDA and the
transceiver box). Setting up the Bluetooth connection as a
retrofit set is described here.
