Warning: To prevent injuries
•
Parts of this compressor will become very HOT during & immediately after use.
Do not touch any of these parts with your bare hands as you could receive a
severe burn.
•
Never allow children to operate this compressor. Close supervision is
necessary when this compressor is being used near children.
•
Do not pump anything other than atmospheric air.
•
Do not use any other tools or attachments without first determining maximum
air pressure for that tool or attachment.
•
This air compressor is equipped with an Automatic Reset Thermal Protector, &
can automatically restart after the thermal protector resets. Always turn off
the power when thermal protector becomes activated.
•
Never Point any air nozzles toward another person or any part of the body.
•
After use, always release pressure from the hose by turning ON/OFF switch to
OFF. Press trigger on the tyre gun – this releases pressure in system. Disconnect
hose & gun.
•
Exercise extreme caution & never exceed 40 KPH when driving with
deflated tyres.
•
Never make sharp turns while driving with reduced tyre pressure as you could
break the ‘bead’ between the wheel rim & the tyre.
•
Re-inflate tyres to manufacturer’s recommended tyre pressure before high
speed travelling on roadways.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Action
Compressor will not run
1. No power is reaching the
compressor.
2. Blown fuse.
3. Motor overheated.
4. Pressure High.
1. Make sure compressor
switch is “On”.
2. Disconnect compressor
from power source, replace
fuse (Refer to Specifications
sections for correct fuse).
3. Let compressor cool off
for about 15 minutes so
thermal overload switch will
reset.
4. Hold down trigger on gun
to release pressure.
Thermal Overload Protector
cuts out repeatedly
1. Lack of proper
ventilation/ ambient
temperature is too high.
2. Compressor valves failed
1. Move compressor to
well ventilated area, or
area with lower ambient
temperature.
2. Replace compressor.
Excessive knocking or
rattling
1. Worn bearing on
eccentric or motor shaft.
2. Cylinder or piston ring is
worn.
1. Replace compressor.
2. Replace compressor.
Compressor air flow lower
than normal, or can not
pump to higher pressures
1. Worn piston ring or inlet
valves.
2. Dirty/Clogged filter
elements
1. Replace compressor
2. Replace filter elements
