ALARMS
•
Low Oil Alarm
•
The generator is equipped with a low oil alarm system.
•
When the generator detects a low level of oil the ‘low oil” indictor light will
illuminate.
•
Continued use of the generator with low oil can damage the unit and may void
warranty.
•
Low Oil cut off.
•
Once the oil level reaches a critical level the generator will automatically shut
down and will not re start until oil is added.
•
Overload Alarm
•
The generator is rated at 2000 watts with a constant output of 1700 watts.
•
If the appliance connected is drawing a higher wattage than the above rating the
generator overload warning light will illuminate.
•
Continued use of the generator above the recommended limit will result in the
generator shutting down automatically.
•
DC reset switch
•
If the rated amperage is exceeded the generator will cut power to the DC outlet.
•
If this occurs the DC output can be reset by pushing the reset button.
SHUTTING DOWN
1.
Turn off all attached appliances.
2. Remove plugs from sockets
3. Turn the generator on / off switch to the OFF position.
4. Turn vent switch to the OFF position
