Caster Wheels
The Caster Wheels should be checked after every 200
hour of operation. Check that the wheels rotate freely on
their axles. Check for excessive play on the Axle bolt and
bearings.
If necessary remove the Caster Wheel from the yoke and
disassemble the Wheel. Check the Axle Sleeve and
Roller Bearings for excessive wear and replace if needed.
To Disassemble:
1. Remove Axle Bolt and Nut.
2. Remove Wheel from yoke.
3. Remove Axle Sleeve.
4. Tap the Flange Bearings out of the hub.
5. Remove the Roller Bearings.
6. Clean Roller Bearings and Axle Sleeve removing old
grease.
7. Clean the tube in the Hub of all old grease buildup.
To Reassemble:
1. Place the Roller Bearings into the Hub.
2. Re-insert the Flange Bearings into the Hub.
NOTE: The flat area on the Flange Bearing must be
positioned so it is beneath the grease fitting in the hub
tube when installed.

3. Insert the Axle Sleeve through the Hub into the Flange
Bearings and Roller Bearings.
4. Put 10 shots of grease in both fittings on the Hub. Use
No 2 Lithium or Molybdenum grease.
5. Place the Wheel back in the yoke, insert the Axle Bolt,
apply the Axle Nut and torque to 75 ft. lbs.
Anti-Scalp Rollers
NOTE: All adjustments to Anti-Scalp Rollers should be
made with the Zero Turn Mower on a flat level surface.
Anti-Scalp rollers should not be adjusted to support the
Zero Turn Mower deck. Supporting the Zero Turn Mower
deck on the Anti-Scalp rollers may damage the deck.
Adjust the Anti-Scalp rollers so they are slightly off the
ground when the deck is set at the desired cutting height.
Adjustments are made by placing adjusting collars be-
tween the roller and the mounting tube to lower the roller
or by placing the adjusting collars on top of the mounting
tube to raise the roller.
Fasten in place by placing the Locking Pin through the hole
in the top of the Roller shaft.
Check the Rollers and Axle Bolt for wear often and replace
when necessary.
