The Presence Detector can be operated via an external NO-contact pushbutton or IR hand-
held transmitter 6010. The light source can be selectively switched on and off
irrespective
of the prevailing brightness conditions and the settings on the potentiometers.
7.1 Supplementary Operation via the Pushbutton
When briefly pressed, the NO-contact pushbutton causes a switchover in each case.
a. The lighting is off and should be switched on
After actuation of the pushbutton, the lighting will be switched on for approx. 2 hours,
irrespective of the set brightness limit value. After this time has elapsed, or if no movement
has been detected in the room for 30 minutes, there is a return to the presence detector
function with incorporation of the brightness limit value.
b. The lighting is on and should be switched off
When the pushbutton is actuated, the lighting is switched off and the Presence Detector is
deactivated. The Presence Detector will be reactivated:
- after 4 hours
or
- if, within a period of 30 minutes, no movement is detected in the room
or
- if the Presence Detector is switched on via the pushbutton.
