Introduction
Since 1970, RESISTOMAT
®
equipment has provided modern solutions to problems related
to the measurement of low resistances.
This equipment was developed with the aim of replacing the traditional Thomson bridge with
a more efficient system.
Your RESISTOMAT
®
allows four-wire measurement which is more reliable and, naturally,
faster than the Thomson method, as well as being less vulnerable to interference.
High resolution and low power dissipation are achieved at a much lower price using a
compact, digital measurement device instead of a complicated measurement configuration.
Lower power dissipation means more precise measurement of temperature-dependent
material. In this field of application, the automatic temperature offset will save you a lot of
time which was needed earlier for separate temperature measurements and conversion of
the measured values to a base of 20
°
C.
Developed upon its proven predecessor Model 7601, the 2302-V001 model provides a
reliable resolution of 0.1
µ
Ω
. This is achieved by a highly-stable measurement current of 3
A, together with a highly accurate digital voltmeter for low voltages. The Model 2302-V001
thus indicates a resistance of 0.0178 m
Ω
for a 1000 mm
2
copper conductor 1 m long.
Almost all measurement ranges offer a choice of two different measurement currents to
match the current-carrying capacity of the test device. The upper limit of the measurement
range of 20 k
Ω
is located well within the "Wheatstone range".
The device is equipped with an electrically isolated RS232 data output as standard.
