MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
NOTE:
Make sure the product has cooled and is not connected to the
mains when cleaning.
1. Switch off the product and pull out the power cord from the
power point.
2. Allow the product to cool.
3. Pull out the detachable temperature control (12) from the
connector on the product.
4. Grill plate and lid: Clean with a cloth moistened with water
and washing-up liquid after use. Never use steel wool or a
metal brush, this will damage the coating.
5. Drip tray: Empty the drip tray at regular intervals and clean
with water and washing-up liquid.
6. Base and foot: Clean with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
Splashed fat can be removed with a mild detergent. Do not
use abrasive detergents or solvents.
NOTE:
•
The grill plate has a nonstick coating. Make sure not to
scratch the coating when grilling and cleaning. Do not use
metal utensils or other scratching utensils.
• Do not expose the product to rain or moisture.
STORAGE
Cover the product with plastic to protect it from dust and dirt if it
is not going to be used for some time. Store in a dry place out of
the reach of children.
