Teach function: Determine end positions and save

Automatic teach function:
For devices with pilot valve
The teach function automatically identifies and saves the end positions of the valve.
•
Manual teach function:
For devices without pilot valve
The end positions are captured and saved automatically.
•
Teach-in-operation function:
is (if previously enabled) carried out automatically during the first switching
in operation.
10.2.1 Start automatic teach function
For devices with pilot valve:
The teach function automatically identifies and saves the end positions of the valve.
With the IO-Link and AS-Interface variant, the teach function can also be started via the bus com-
munication (see respective parameter list) or with all variants of the REV.3 versions with the Bürkert
Communicator.
Essential requirements:
•
The device is mounted on the actuator.
•
The supply voltage is connected.
•
The compressed air supply is connected.
•
So that the correct reference conditions are identified, the pilot pressure must correspond to the operating
conditions.

Breakage of the pneumatic connection pieces due to rotational impact.

When opening or closing the device, do not press against the actuator, but against the basic housing.

Screw off the body casing by turning anticlockwise.
