Cleaning
Recommended cleaning tips:
1. Open LAFT door and set power switch to off position.
2. Remove dispense tip from refill valve by turning ¼ turn left and pulling down.
3. Wash dispense tip in warm soapy water and rinse.
4. Wipe down inside and underside of LAFT with warm soapy wash cloth.
5. Reassemble dispense tip to valve.
6. Set power switch to on position and close the door.
LAFT Cleaning/Sanitation Process:
1. Fill bucket with 2 gallons of warm water (120 – 180 deg. F.) for each hopper being sanitized.
2. Mix in sanitizer solution to a concentrate of 100 PPM Chlorine.
3. Remove the BIB connector from the concentrate BIB and install adaptor so the line is open to the sanitizing
solution. Place the connector in sanitizing solution so that it will stay at the bottom.
4. Set the Ultra machine cooling system to the off position for each hopper being sanitized. Also set the LAFT
power switch to off.
5. Empty any remaining product from the Ultra hopper.
6. Set the LAFT power switch to on and allow the hopper to fill to about the 1.5 gallon mark, then turn the LAFT
power switch off. This is the first mark above the “G” on the left front side of the hopper.
7. Allow the sanitizer to sit in the hopper and refill system for 10 minutes.
8. Drain the sanitizer from the hopper.
9. Turn the LAFT power switch on and allow the sanitizer solution to run until the bucket is empty. Note – you
may need to drain the hopper during this process depending on the amount of sanitizer remaining in the
bucket.
10. Turn off the LAFT once the sanitizer bucket is empty.
11. Reconnect the BIB connector to the concentrate line.
12. Turn the LAFT power switch on and run until you see concentrate filling into the hopper. Turn the LAFT power
switch off
13. Refer to the Recommended Cleaning instructions in the Ultra manual and follow these steps to clean the
hopper and other dispenser parts.
