Introduction:
The EvolveNet Router™ by BuLogics, Inc., is the backbone of the Evolve Guest Controls
comprehensive energy management solution. As a hub of communication, nothing
communicates faster and with better accuracy than the EvolveNet Router.
Important Information:
•
Please make sure you use the provided power supply to power up your
EvolveNet Router.
•
Do NOT submerge the EvolveNet Router in water or place in a high humidity
area.
•
Do not insert anything other than a licensed EvolveNet Portal™ into the open
slots.
Installation Instructions:
1)
Place the EvolveNet Router in a centralized location in between the rooms with
which it will be communicating.
2)
Place the EvolveNet Router on a flat surface and plug the power supply in to the
EvolveNet Router.
3)
Plug the power supply into an outlet.
EvolveNet Router Bootup Sequence
1)
The red LED near the antenna will begin to blink when the EvolveNet Router is
connected to power. This indicates that the EvolveNet Router is searching for a
ZigBee network to join.
2)
The red LED automatically becomes solid once the EvolveNet Router connects
to the ZigBee network.
3)
Once the EvolveNet Router has joined the ZigBee network, the green LED will
begin to blink. This indicates that the EvolveNet Router is attempting to sync
with Evolve BackOffice™.
4)
The green LED automatically becomes solid once the EvolveNet Router is
connected to Evolve BackOffice.
**IMPORANT NOTE**
Even if an Evolve Portal™is inserted into the receiving slots, no
other LEDs will illuminate until there is a solid red and solid green LED near the
antenna.
EvolveNet Portal LED Definitions (For when an EvolveNet Portal is inserted into the
receiving slots):
•
Red LED blinks to show that the EvolveNet Portal is receiving commands.
•
Blue LED blinks to show the network health.
o
<50% = slow blink
o
>50% = fast blink
