4 Maintenance
4.1 Inspection and Service
The device works maintenance free.
NV74 only: Replace the filter element when clogged, at least once a year. In special cases, a small
amount of oil may be refilled via the Nivovent filter.
4.1.1 Replacing the Filter Element
To replace the filter element, proceed as follows:

Unscrew the filter cover counter clockwise.

Remove the filter element and dispose it according the National rules and standards.

Insert the new filter element.
Make sure that the filter element has got the correct pore size.

Close the filter cover.

For filters with visual clogging indicator: Reset the display to zero with the reset button
4.2 Refilling small Amounts of Oil
With option BFA or SSR only:

Unscrew the filter cover counter clockwise.

Refill the oil slowly.

Insert the filter element and close the cover.
