Cutting a Specimen and Serial Sectioning
To cut a specimen, select the appropriate BLADE SPEED, FEED RATE, and CUTTING LENGTH
parameters.
If using the Specimen Positioning System, the SAMPLE THICKNESS, SPECIMEN QUANTITY,

with the cover closed. This prevents manual feeding of specimen materials or dressing
sticks into the rotating blade, which could result in personal injury and/or blade damage.
Efforts to defeat the safety interlock could result in personal injury and void warranty.
