Brake maintenance
In order to maintain your bicycle’s braking performance, it
is important to perform maintenance on the braking
system at the intervals described in the chapter entitled
“regular maintenance and checks”:
• Replacing worn disk brakes or pads: the surface markings
are no longer visible or the metal structure is under 0,07 in
(2 mm) from the rim or from the disk.
• The position of mechanical disk brakes must be adjusted
regularly as they wear.
• Replacing brake cables and housings.
• Cleaning hydraulic brake circuits.
