When first switched on, your BT Decor 1500 answering
machine is ready to go. It is set to answer calls and
record messages. If you have not already set the day and
time, you will need to do this so that you will know when
each message was received,
see page 4
.
Switch the answer machine on/off
When the answering machine is switched off, the
message counter will display ‘-’.
1. Press
to switch between Answer On and Answer Off
modes. The selected mode will be announced.
Outgoing message (OGM)
This is the message your caller hears when the answering
machine picks up their call. Your BT Decor 1500 comes
with two pre-recorded outgoing messages to choose
from. You can also record your own outgoing messages.
Answer and Record
This is the default OGM. This allows your caller to leave
a message for you.
Answer Only
This does not allow your caller to leave a message.

is full ‘F’ will flash in the message
counter.
