Running with the Feeder Assembly

Setting the
Sliding
Fence

1.

Set one or a few pieces of
media in the center of the
Feeder.

Slide Fences towards media

Leave small gap

2.

Grab the handles on the
sides of both fences and
push the Fences towards the
media. Both Fences will
move simultaneously
towards the media to trap it between the Inner & Outer
Fence. Push the fence up
against the side of the
media.

3.

Move one of the fences back
to leave a gap the width of a
envelope between the media
and the fences. The fences
have to be close enough to
keep the media from going in at an angle but loose
enough to allow the media to freely drop down onto
the Feed Rollers.

Setting the
Media
Support
Wedge

1.

Lift the media up from the Feed Ramp Assembly. Take
notice where the end of the media rests on the Feed
Ramp Assembly.

2.

Locate where the end of the media was and
insert the front end of the Media Support Wedge
and then push forward to hook in the slot. This
will place the Media Support Wedge so the
media is halfway up the angled front edge.

Insert front of wedge.

3.

Slightly squeeze the back of the wedge to insert

it into a slot.

Media located in middle of wedge.

4.

Release the wedge and the tension will lock the
wedge in place. Now lower the media down.
Check that the bottom piece of media is almost
halfway up the Media Support Wedge.
