Tips
Turn Thumb Screw to move
Entry Roller Assembly
9.
Remove the piece of media and perform a test run to
check the position of the Entry Rollers on the media
during operation of the printer.
10.
Replace the Top Cover to the printer.
Adjusting the
Exit Idler
Assemblies
The Exit Idler Assemblies keep the media from twisting or
moving around while it is still in the printer. For the Exit Idler
Assemblies to be effective they must be moved into the path
of the media and yet be in a clear zone (non printing area of
the media). If any of the rollers come into contact with the
printing they will act as a brush with paint and smear the print.
Slide Exit Idlers into path of media.
1.
Remove the Top Cover to gain access to
the inside of the printer.
2.
Slide the Exit Idler Assemblies to mirror
the arrangement of the Entry Roller
Assemblies. If the Entry Rollers are
properly set the Exit Idler Assemblies
are also in the path where the media will
travel trough the printer.
Slide Exit Idlers out of Print Zone.
3.
Locate the labels that indicate the Print
Zone on each of the Print Head
Assemblies. Slide those Exit Idler
Assemblies that are in the path where
the ink is being sprayed to a clear zone
on the piece.
Note
: Run the printer to
test where the media will travel and to
check the location of print on the piece.
4.
Replace the Top Cover to the printer.
