POWERHEAD

CYLINDER HEAD

IMPORTANT:

Install each valve and spring in its

original position. Set valve spring in place with
narrow spiral area facing valve spring seat.

Use Valve Spring Compressor, P/N 346186, and
attachment from Valve Lifter Adaptor Kit,
P/N 5000899, and tweezers to install valve cot-
ters.

Make sure valve cotters are properly seated in
groove.

Installation

IMPORTANT:

Do not re-use gasket. Always use

a new gasket.

Insert dowel pins and place a new cylinder head
gasket into position on cylinder block.

Position cylinder head on cylinder block.

Apply engine oil to cylinder head screws.
